Your local steward is your first contact if you have a workplace problem or a concern.
Your steward can —
- assist you with questions about your rights under the Collective Agreement,
- represent you in meetings with management, or
- provide some confidential advice.
Issues may be solved by discussions with management, without the need for a formal complaint.
